ROSTRUM VOICE OF YOUTH 2020
After three regional finals involving 76 students from 23 schools, the State Final of Rostrum Voice of Youth 2020 was held on October 24th.

Tasmania was the only state to hold the competition in 2020. For that reason, the 2021 topics will remain the same but those students who participated this year are required to select one of the four remaining topics in their section.
Planning for 2021 is underway with regional finals to be held in the first week of May and the State Final in Launceston on June 19th. The junior and senior state winners will travel to Adelaide for the National Final at the end of July.
Contestants are required to present a
Prepared speech - 6 minutes - JUNIORS (aged 11 years as at 1/1/21 and in years 7, 8 or 9)
- 8 minutes - SENIORS (under 18 years as at 1/1/21 and in years 10, 11 or 12)
Short notice speech - 3 minutes - Juniors & Seniors, preparation time of 15 minutes.
